To produce and recycle resources
To contribute to the community
We Tanaka Sekkai Kogyo has reached our 130th anniversary while continuing our activities around the pillar of effective resource use and community service. This has been made possible due to our customers, community residents, and employees and for this, we express our deepest gratitude.
For the next 5 years leading to our 135th anniversary, we have set a new goal to “accelerate our growth toward new heights.” With a special focus on “resource circulation and renewal,” we will research, develop, and create new products and services essential for steady economic growth.
Tanaka Sekkai Kogyo possesses a wealth of assets through our diverse business operations passed down through the generations. With our accumulated experience, knowledge and achievements and human resources, we will continue our “next 130 years” based on an accelerated business platform while giving back to society and our local community.
WWith “resource creation and resource circulation” and “local community contribution” as our mission, we strive to fulfill our social responsibilities through social and community development, environmental preservation, and through fair and transparent corporate activities.
Katsuya Tanaka, President
The history of Tanaka Sekkai Kogyo is a history of “change.” This change means both adapting to the changing times but also to our willingness to change ourselves.
As a lime manufacturer mining high-quality limestone and using the raw materials to produce various lime products, we have attained essential skills cultivated through mining development and management to expand our business into not only the distribution of other minerals, but also general and industrial waste-processing operations and plastic recycling operations.
Our current focus is environmental initiatives. As a company engaged in underground resource development, we have always identified environmental conservation as our highest priority. Years of building communication with our local residents and fostering environmental awareness with our employees has enabled us to steadily advance in our role as a socially responsible corporation dedicated to resource recycling.
At our company, we are committed to the advancement of both environmental conservation and economic development to realize a “circular economy” under the pillars of “effective utilization of underground resources” and “the development and provision of environmental services to promote renewable resources.”
